Family Engagement

Hopewell's Parent Involvement Coordinator hosts a number of activities each school year to engage students and their families in school life.  Events include a holiday event, Art in the Park, and a Family Math Night each year.

Parent Orientation is held each school year prior to students' first day.  Teachers send letters in the month of July to introduce themselves and announce the dates for Parent Orientation Meetings.

Parent Conference Nights are held once each semester to communicate academic performance; however individual conferences can be held at any time a need arises.

Our active PTO hosts a number of events and encourages all parents/guardians to become PTO members, attend PTO planning meetings, and participate in PTO activities.

A Parent Volunteer Orientation is held at the beginning of each school year to train parents and guardians who would like to volunteer during the school day.
